As a Filipino, I know that there is a problem with the production of rice in our country. What I don't understand is, how can an agricultural country be even experiencing rice shortage? Do we not plan enough for our future? Do we always think about what's for today?" and not "what's for tomorrow?"

(Taking that issue aside) Okay, let's say that we already have rice shortage because we couldn't do anything about it.
The government issued NFA rice to the barangays for it to be easily sold at a lower price. (Right?) How come there isn't any store here selling for the said NFA rice issued by the government? Is it not for the less fortunate people, for them to buy rice at a lower price? Take a guess kung saan napupunta yung mga bigas.
If you thought about the barangay staff, then you got the right answer.
I personally don't think that this isn't right. Knowing the people of the Philippines today, we are very self-centered people. We always think about our benefits and not the benefits of others.

As we can see, corruption doesn't only happen in the higher parts of our government. So before we start naming people who we think are corrupt, let's start with thinking about ourselves first. If we are such sinless people, then we may accuse but since we have our own sins that we committed, I don't think we have even the right to accuse. (Please don't tell me about us having freedom of speech)
